Huntington Wedding Band
A live band for weddings around Huntington's harbors, from Cold Spring Harbor east to Centerport and Northport.
Inquire About Your DateThe Town of Huntington wraps around a run of harbors on the Long Island Sound: Cold Spring Harbor, Huntington Harbor, Centerport and Northport. Plenty of the best wedding settings here face the water. Others sit up in the hills behind it, where the families of the Gilded Age built their summer houses, so you can say your vows within sight of a harbor and dance in a chateau ballroom the same night.
We have performed at Water's Edge in Centerport, and our dedicated New York team plays weddings all along the North Shore. The band is fully live at seven to eleven pieces, and every package includes a full PA and continuous music from the first song to the last. Most Huntington venues carry no out-of-town travel fee.
Wedding venues around Huntington
Harborside rooms and hilltop estates in the Town of Huntington, as each venue presents itself on its own website.
Oheka Castle
Otto Hermann Kahn's French-style chateau, built on what the castle calls the highest point on Long Island and restored over many years after it stood abandoned. Its first wedding was Maud Kahn's, held in the Grand Ballroom in 1919, and today it is also a historic hotel with formal gardens rebuilt from the Olmsted Brothers' drawings.
Water's Edge
A newly renovated waterfront venue on Centerport's Mill Pond, and one of the Long Island rooms where we have performed. The Summerwind Ballroom seats up to 300 with windows over the pond, and the ground-floor Willow Room opens onto the garden for cocktails.
Harbor Club at Prime
A modern room on Huntington Harbor from the Bohlsen Restaurant Group, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open-air balcony over the water. Service is restaurant-style, built around a fine dining menu.
Chateau at Coindre Hall
A 1912 chateau above Huntington Harbor with a grand ballroom, an adjoining grand hall and a broad piazza. Only one wedding is booked at a time, so the house and its harbor views are yours for the day.
Larkfield
An East Northport venue with over 40 years in the business and four event rooms, the largest being the Villaggio Ballroom for up to 400 guests. Ceremonies can be held outdoors in the gardens.
Planning a wedding in Huntington
Cocktail hour by the water
Harbor venues here tend to hold cocktails where the view is: on a balcony, a piazza or a garden by the pond. That usually means the music moves outdoors for an hour and back inside for dinner. Our sound engineer arrives two hours early, which leaves time to set up for both.
Filling a castle-sized room
A Gilded Age ballroom with high ceilings swallows a small sound, so the larger lineups with horns earn their place in one. Our in-ear monitor system lets the band move from one song to the next the way a DJ does, and the floor never waits through a gap between numbers.
Getting city guests out here
The Port Jefferson branch of the Long Island Rail Road stops at Cold Spring Harbor, Huntington, Greenlawn and Northport, which gives city guests a way out without a car. Most harbor venues are a short ride from one of those stations. Build a little slack into the start time for anyone coming by train.

Huntington wedding band questions
Have you performed at Water's Edge in Centerport?
Yes, we have. Our own video from Water's Edge is up on our media page, so you can hear the band there before you book.
Who handles the announcements at the reception?
Gabby and Eddie emcee, so every announcement comes from the stage, from your entrance to the last dance. We go over the order on a planning call about a month before the wedding.
Will guests hear the vows at an outdoor harbor ceremony?
They will if the officiant is on a microphone. An officiant microphone is one of our add-ons, and every package already includes a full PA system. Pair it with the complimentary ceremony musician and the outdoor setup is covered.
