Smithtown Wedding Band
Fully live music for weddings in Smithtown, St. James and Hauppauge, out to Lake Ronkonkoma and the beach at Sunken Meadow.
Inquire About Your DateSmithtown sits in the middle of Suffolk's North Shore, where the Nissequogue River runs north to the Sound. Within a short drive you have garden estates in St. James, catering halls with chapels of their own, a golf club, a lakefront ballroom on Lake Ronkonkoma and a beach pavilion at Sunken Meadow. For families spread between Nassau and the East End, it makes a fair middle point.
We bring the full New York band out here, seven to eleven musicians playing live, from a team that has been working New York weddings for over twelve years. For most venues around Smithtown, we add no out-of-town travel fee.
Wedding venues around Smithtown
Garden estates, lakefront rooms and a beach pavilion around Smithtown, drawn from the venues' own descriptions.
Watermill Caterers
A family-run hall with both an indoor and an outdoor chapel for on-site ceremonies. Its rooms run from the smaller Bostonian, Newporter and Carnegie to the larger Astor and Vanderbilt, and the photo gardens mix waterfalls and stone footbridges with gazebos and arbors.
Flowerfield Celebrations
A private estate of more than 12 acres with fruit trees, ponds and a vineyard. Vows happen on Gazebo Island across a footbridge, cocktails in a 12,000-square-foot atrium built around a koi pond, and the reception in the 6,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, which has two cocktail bars and a mahogany dance floor.
Stonebridge Country Club
A Smithtown golf club where weddings come with sweeping views of the course, and a dedicated team coordinates everything from the ceremony to the reception.
Windows on the Lake
A lakefront venue that hosts only one wedding at a time, with a waterfront chapel for the ceremony, an outdoor patio for cocktails and a ballroom whose floor-to-ceiling windows, under a 20-foot ceiling, face Lake Ronkonkoma.
The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow
A beachfront venue inside Sunken Meadow State Park, right on the boardwalk along the Long Island Sound. It runs one event at a time, with vows at the shoreline and the reception looking out over the water.
Planning a wedding in Smithtown
Chapels on the property
Watermill has both an indoor and an outdoor chapel, and Windows on the Lake has one right on the water, so guests never leave the grounds between the vows and the party. The complimentary ceremony musician in every package plays the walk down the aisle, and a ceremony ensemble can fill a larger chapel.
Timing the light on the lake
The ballroom at Windows on the Lake looks out over the water toward the sunset. Ask the venue when the light peaks on your date, and set the first dance or the toasts around it.
Vows at the water's edge
The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow puts the ceremony at the edge of the Sound, where a breeze can carry words away. An officiant microphone, one of our add-ons, keeps the vows audible, and the full PA in every package covers the reception by the water.

"THE BEST EVER. Not only are Gabby and Eddie so easy to work with, they are extremely talented and fun. It has been two weeks since our wedding and guests are still contacting us about the band. They did not stop playing once, and the dance floor was more crowded than any other wedding, all thanks to their energy, talent, and perfect song choices."

Smithtown wedding band questions
Will you learn a song that is not on your list?
Yes. We always learn special requests, whether it is your first dance, a parent dance or the one song your friends will not let you skip. There is nothing we can't or won't play live.
Will you coordinate with our venue's staff?
Yes. Gabby and Eddie hold a planning call with you about a month out to go over the timeline. On the day, one of them sits down with your planner before the reception to confirm the announcements and the final schedule.
Can you add lighting to the stage?
Yes. Stage lighting is one of our add-ons. It is worth considering in the bigger ballrooms around Smithtown, where the band becomes the centerpiece of the room once dinner is cleared.
