Oakdale and Sayville Wedding Band
Live music for weddings on the Great South Bay, from the mansions of Oakdale and Great River to the waterfront in Sayville.
Inquire About Your DateThe South Shore of Suffolk runs along the Great South Bay, with Fire Island's barrier beach on the far side of the water. In Oakdale, Great River and West Sayville, a handful of Gilded Age estates still stand on the bay or beside golf courses laid out on their old grounds. Evenings by the water are the draw, and the venues are built to make the most of them.
The South Shore is part of our dedicated New York team's regular Long Island territory, so an out-of-town travel fee does not apply at most venues here. Our seven to eleven musicians play without backing tracks, and Gabby and Eddie emcee the whole night.

Planning a wedding in Oakdale and Sayville
A lawn for a thousand
Bourne Mansion's lawn takes events of more than 1,000 guests, and a crowd that size spread across open grass needs the biggest version of the band. Plan on horns, a second vocalist or electric violin joining the core seven, so the music has the weight to match the crowd.
Flying in
Long Island MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma is a short drive from these venues, which makes life easier for guests coming from out of state. Point them there before they book a flight into one of the city airports and fight the traffic out.
Vows on the beach
At Land's End the ceremony can happen on the sand itself, with the white gazebo in the gardens as a second choice. Plan the music for open air: the ceremony musician who comes free with every package handles it, and a larger ensemble carries further outdoors.
