Woodbury Wedding Band

Live music for weddings in Woodbury, Syosset and Jericho, and at the old estates a few minutes north of Jericho Turnpike.

Inquire About Your Date

Woodbury sits on Jericho Turnpike, a short drive from both the Long Island Expressway and the Northern State Parkway, and that location is a big part of its pull. Guests heading out from the city and guests driving in from Suffolk meet in the middle. The turnpike has several big ballrooms, while the back roads toward Muttontown and East Norwich lead to estate houses set on golf courses and wide lawns.

We are a dedicated New York team, not a booking agency sending you musicians you have never met. Our full band runs seven to eleven pieces and plays every note live, with no pre-recorded tracks. Over twelve years of New York weddings have taught us to sort out load-in and sound rules well before the day. This part of Nassau is well inside our New York team's range, with no out-of-town travel fee at most venues.

Wedding venues around Woodbury

Five places to marry in and around Woodbury, described from what each venue says about itself.

Crest Hollow Country Club

Woodbury

A Jericho Turnpike club that has hosted events since 1972, with an indoor chapel, two garden ceremony sites and five reception rooms. Cocktail hour can move outside to the pool deck, the Veranda Bay tent or the waterfalls of Coral Beach.

The Somerley at The Fox Hollow

Woodbury

A private wing on The Fox Hollow's eight-acre estate, with its own chapel, ballroom and gardens. The Scotto Brothers handle the catering, and the on-site Inn at Fox Hollow can put up guests who would rather not drive home.

The Mansion at Oyster Bay

Woodbury

A former Gold Coast estate on 120 acres, with a golf course on the grounds and only one event booked at a time. The house seats up to 500 for dinner, or 600 for a cocktail-style reception.

Woodside Club

Muttontown

An English Georgian manor that William Adams Delano designed for the Burden family after they bought the land in 1916; the Prince of Wales was a houseguest in 1924. The club caters weddings for members and non-members alike.

Pine Hollow Club

East Norwich

Built in 1934 as a country retreat for New York Post owner Dorothy Schiff, the house now anchors a club with 133 acres and an 18-hole course. Weddings are planned with the club's private events team and held in the grand ballroom.

Planning a wedding in Woodbury

Ballroom-sized guest lists

The big rooms along Jericho Turnpike are made for long guest lists, and a dance floor for a few hundred people needs real weight behind it. That is where horns or an electric violin on top of the core band pay off. Ask us on your consultation which size fits your room.

Houses that were built as homes

The estates in Muttontown and East Norwich started life as private houses, so the route from the service door to the ballroom can wind through hallways and around corners. Load-in is something we plan for at every venue. Our sound engineer is on site two hours before guests arrive, which leaves time to work through the house without hurrying.

Vows without a second drive

Crest Hollow, The Somerley and the Mansion at Oyster Bay all host the ceremony on the property, so guests walk from the vows straight to cocktails. Tell us where each part of the day happens, and we plan the music to follow you from the ceremony site to the ballroom.

"THE BEST EVER. Not only are Gabby and Eddie so easy to work with, they are extremely talented and fun. It has been two weeks since our wedding and guests are still contacting us about the band. They did not stop playing once, and the dance floor was more crowded than any other wedding, all thanks to their energy, talent, and perfect song choices."

Woodbury wedding band questions

Can we meet you before we book?

Yes. We meet by Zoom, where you can invite as many people as you like, or at our home office for up to four people. Have your venue, date and rough guest count handy and we can get specific.

What size band suits a large Woodbury ballroom?

Our core seven-piece is lead female and male vocals, keys, guitar, bass, drums and saxophone. From there we grow to eleven with trumpet, trombone, tenor saxophone, electric violin or a second vocalist. The bigger the band, the bigger the sound, so the right size comes down to your room and the energy you want.

Can the cocktail hour have its own music?

Yes. Every package comes with a complimentary musician who covers both the ceremony and the cocktail hour, so guests hear live music while you are off taking photos. If you want a fuller sound for that hour, we offer cocktail-hour upgrades.
