Glen Cove Wedding Band
A fully live wedding band for the Gold Coast, from the mansions of Glen Cove and Sea Cliff to Roslyn and Sands Point.
Inquire About Your DateThe Gold Coast is the stretch of North Shore where New York's wealthiest families built country houses in the early 1900s, from Sands Point and Roslyn out through Glen Cove. Many of those houses survive as wedding venues, with their original woodwork, formal gardens and lawns that run down toward Hempstead Harbor or the Sound. A wedding here can feel like a house party in a very large house.
Our dedicated New York team has spent over twelve years learning the rooms and rules of New York venues, and historic houses come with plenty of rules. Seven to eleven musicians play the night fully live while Gabby and Eddie handle the emcee duties, and there is no out-of-town travel fee for most Gold Coast venues.
Wedding venues around Glen Cove
Gold Coast estates and harbor rooms between Sands Point and Glen Cove, summarized from the houses' own websites.
The Mansion at Glen Cove
Built in 1910 as The Manor, the Georgian Revival home of John Teele and Ruth Baker Pratt on 55 acres, designed by Charles Adams Platt. After a 2019 restoration it runs as a hotel and event venue, with suites for the newlyweds.
Swan Club on the Harbor
A harborside venue whose ballrooms, including Camelot, Contessa and the Garden Room, look out through floor-to-ceiling windows over seven acres of waterfront gardens. Bridges, fountains and gazebos give open-air ceremonies plenty of options.
Sea Cliff Manor
A mansion above the Long Island Sound, once known as Sans Souci, that hosts one event at a time so the whole house belongs to your party.
Hempstead House at Sands Point Preserve
A Gold Coast mansion on a 216-acre preserve that also holds Castle Gould. Receptions can use the foyer, living rooms, library and sunken palm court, the Rose Garden and terrace overlook the Sound for ceremonies in the open or under a tent, and events start at 150 guests.
NYIT de Seversky Mansion
Commissioned by Alfred I. du Pont in 1916 and designed by Thomas Hastings, the house has belonged to New York Institute of Technology since 1972. Guests arrive through a marble foyer with a grand staircase, and the main ballroom keeps its hand-carved paneling and stone fireplace.
The Royalton Mansion
An early twentieth-century colonial estate on 10 acres of wooded grounds and English gardens. It books one wedding at a time, with in-house managers who act much like personal planners.
Planning a wedding in Glen Cove
One house, several rooms
Gold Coast houses were built as a series of rooms rather than one big hall, so a wedding often moves: cocktails in a library or palm court, dinner in another room, dancing in the ballroom. We set up where you dance, and the complimentary cocktail-hour musician plays wherever guests gather first. Walk the route with your venue so the flow is clear.
A setting for any season
These houses work in every season, with paneled rooms and fireplaces for winter and terraces and lawns for summer. Popular dates go early, especially in peak season, so start your band search around the time you sign with the venue.
Staying the night
The Mansion at Glen Cove doubles as a hotel, which makes a late finish easy for anyone sleeping on site. If the party still has legs at the scheduled end, we can hand the night over to a DJ after-party.

Glen Cove wedding band questions
Our mansion venue requires proof of insurance. Can you provide it?
Yes. We are fully insured, and every package includes a certificate of insurance that meets your venue's requirements. If the venue wants to see the policy itself, we can send a copy.
Can you arrange a string quartet for the ceremony?
Yes. We offer ceremony ensembles from a single musician up to a quartet. Eddie has put together ceremony music for hundreds of weddings in his twelve years performing in New York, so he can size the group to your space.
Can you play a tented reception on an estate lawn?
Yes. We bring our own full PA, so the sound does not depend on the house system. Ask your venue early about power and the layout of the tent, since those decide where the stage goes.
