Westbury Wedding Band
Fully live wedding music for Westbury, Carle Place, East Meadow and Garden City, right in the middle of Nassau.
Inquire About Your DateCentral Nassau is where Long Island's main roads cross. Old Country Road, the Meadowbrook Parkway and the Northern State all run through this stretch, and the Long Island Rail Road stops in Westbury, Carle Place and Garden City. That makes Westbury and its neighbors an easy meeting point for families split between the city and the Island. The venues run from a historic mansion with peacocks on the lawn to a small hotel ballroom.
Our band is a dedicated New York team with over twelve years of weddings in the region, playing seven to eleven pieces with nothing pre-recorded. Several rooms here book a single wedding per day, and that suits us, because we build each night around the couple rather than running a fixed show. Central Nassau sits well inside our usual range, so an out-of-town travel fee is off the table at most venues.
Wedding venues around Westbury
Venues across Westbury, East Meadow and the Garden City side of central Nassau, described from their own sites.
Westbury Manor
A historic mansion on five acres of landscaped gardens that books one wedding at a time. Six rooms take parties from 10 to 450, and the Manor Room, which holds up to 300, keeps its original leaded-glass windows and opens to a garden where peacocks roam.
The Lannin
A Hempstead Turnpike venue that holds one wedding a day, with seating for up to 450. Ceremonies and cocktails can use the patio beside the fountain, and the ballroom pairs soaring ceilings with a grand staircase for photos.
Verdi's of Westbury
A family-owned hall with over 25 years behind it and three ballrooms, the Crystal, the Tosca and the Empress, for weddings of 50 to 500 guests. Bridal suites and valet parking are part of the setup.
Stewart Manor Country Club
A renovated club in western Nassau that books a single event at a time. Its main dining room has a cathedral ceiling with mahogany beams and an original carved stone fireplace, and the Great Lawn moves cocktails outdoors in spring and summer.
Viana Hotel and Spa
A Westbury hotel and spa set up for intimate weddings, with a ballroom that seats up to 95 guests and rooms on site for anyone staying the night.
Planning a wedding in Westbury
Set the last dance by the train
Westbury, Carle Place and Garden City all have Long Island Rail Road stations, so a good share of your city guests may leave the car at home. Check the late trains back before you lock the end time. A clear finish gives everyone a natural moment to head for the platform.
Smaller rooms, smaller lineups
A ballroom for 95 is a different room from one for 450. For the smaller end, Eddie & Gabby, The Duo, are built for intimate rooms, and our DJ Hybrid puts a DJ at the center with live saxophone, violin, guitar or vocals moving through the crowd. Both fit a room where a full band would crowd the floor.
Portraits while guests mingle
Westbury Manor's gardens and the fountain patio at The Lannin are made for portraits, and those usually happen during cocktail hour. The complimentary ceremony and cocktail-hour musician in every package keeps your guests company while you are outside with the photographer.

"THE BEST EVER. Not only are Gabby and Eddie so easy to work with, they are extremely talented and fun. It has been two weeks since our wedding and guests are still contacting us about the band. They did not stop playing once, and the dance floor was more crowded than any other wedding, all thanks to their energy, talent, and perfect song choices."

Westbury wedding band questions
When does the band arrive to set up?
Our sound engineer gets to the venue two hours before the event to set up and test the system, so sound checks are done before your first guest walks in.
Does the band stop between songs?
No. We run an in-ear monitor system, which lets us move from song to song the way a DJ does while every note stays live. The dance floor never has to wait for the next song to start.
Are you a Pittsburgh band or a New York band?
Both. Founders Eddie and Gabby Wiernik run You Pick from two home markets, Pittsburgh and New York, and the New York team is dedicated to weddings here. The musicians at a Westbury wedding are that New York band, not players brought in from elsewhere.
