Freeport and South Shore Wedding Band

A fully live wedding band for Nassau's South Shore, from the Nautical Mile in Freeport to the ocean at Atlantic Beach.

Inquire About Your Date

Nassau's South Shore is a waterfront of canals, bays and barrier beaches. Freeport's Nautical Mile runs along Woodcleft Avenue, Baldwin and Oceanside sit back on the bays, and across the channels Long Beach and Atlantic Beach face the open ocean. Weddings here lean toward water views, salt air and a party that can spill outside.

The South Shore sits well within our New York team's regular range, so most venues here come without an out-of-town travel fee. Our musicians, seven to eleven of them, play every song live, and each package brings a full PA and an emcee for every announcement.

Planning a wedding in Freeport and the South Shore

Sound outdoors

Bayview's rooftop and the beach at The Sands make great ceremony and cocktail spots, but music outdoors takes planning. Our sound engineer gets there two hours ahead of your guests, enough time to set up outside and test everything before the first chair is filled.

Settle the rain plan early

Waterfront weddings live with the weather. Agree on the indoor backup with your venue well ahead, and share both layouts with us, so the band can switch spots without any fuss on the day.

The Nautical Mile, before and after

Freeport's Nautical Mile is lined with seafood restaurants and bars, which makes it an easy pick for a rehearsal dinner or a late drink after the wedding. Guests staying nearby can walk the strip.

"THE BEST EVER. Not only are Gabby and Eddie so easy to work with, they are extremely talented and fun. It has been two weeks since our wedding and guests are still contacting us about the band. They did not stop playing once, and the dance floor was more crowded than any other wedding, all thanks to their energy, talent, and perfect song choices."

Freeport and the South Shore wedding band questions

What does the band wear to a summer waterfront wedding?

Black suits and black gowns are our standard. If your wedding calls for something lighter, like a beach ceremony in July, other looks are available on request.

Should we book a full band or a DJ with live musicians?

It depends on the room and the night you want. Our full band is seven to eleven musicians playing everything live. Our DJ Hybrid has a DJ anchor the night while live players, from saxophone and electric violin to guitar and vocals, work through the crowd. Our guide to choosing between a band and a DJ goes deeper.

Do you play parties besides weddings?

Yes. We play birthdays and other private parties, as well as corporate events. Our private parties page has more.
