Tarrytown Wedding Band
Live music for weddings on the east bank of the Hudson, from Irvington up to Sleepy Hollow and Briarcliff Manor, played by our New York team.
Inquire About Your DateTarrytown and its neighbors line the east bank of the Hudson where the Mario M. Cuomo Bridge comes ashore, and the best-known wedding venues here sit on the high ground above the water. Within a few miles you will find a Gothic Revival mansion from 1838, a stone mansion on a hilltop where Mark Twain once owned the land, and a 26-acre hotel whose statue garden looks straight out at the river.
Westchester is regular territory for our New York team. We are a dedicated team, not a booking agency sending you musicians you have never met, and if you are getting married just outside the city, chances are we are already familiar with your venue.
Wedding venues around Tarrytown
A few of the estates and hotels couples book along this stretch of the river:
Tappan Hill Mansion
A stone mansion on a hilltop over the Hudson, on land Mark Twain once owned, run by Abigail Kirsch. The Pavilion Room takes 150 to 250 guests and the Hudson Room 75 to 150.
Tarrytown House Estate
A historic hotel on 26 acres of gardens above the river. The Mary Duke Ballroom holds up to 400, the Statue Garden hosts ceremonies facing the Hudson, and Cellar 49, a former speakeasy under the Biddle Mansion, works for an after-party.
The Briarcliff Manor
A family-owned house from the early 1900s with grand staircases, fireplaces and gardens overlooking the Hudson. It hosts weddings of up to 170 guests, with ceremonies indoors or out.
Sleepy Hollow Hotel
A hotel on 11 landscaped acres whose Hudson Grand Ballroom seats up to 650 with a dance floor. Ceremonies use a garden gazebo or the skylit Westchester Ballroom, and kosher weddings use caterers approved by the hotel's rabbinical supervision.
Lyndhurst
America's oldest Gothic Revival residence by its own account, designed by Alexander Jackson Davis in 1838. Its 67 acres look out over the Hudson, the Palisades and the bridge, and the grounds host weddings.
Planning a wedding in Tarrytown
Garden first, ballroom second
Many weddings here begin outside, in a garden or on a lawn above the river, and move indoors for dinner. One complimentary musician for the ceremony and cocktail hour comes with every package, so the first music your guests hear is live, and our sound engineer is on site two hours early to ready the reception room.
Sleepy Hollow in October
Autumn weekends on the river are in demand, and Sleepy Hollow's Halloween season brings crowds to the village every October. Reserve hotel rooms for guests early and leave extra time on local roads.
Metro-North and a room for the night
Tarrytown is a stop on Metro-North's Hudson Line, and Tappan Hill puts itself about 45 minutes from Midtown. Tarrytown House Estate and the Sleepy Hollow Hotel both let guests stay where they celebrate.
Kosher celebrations
At the Sleepy Hollow Hotel, the Grand Foyer and the Hudson Room are set aside for the traditions that come before a kosher ceremony. Our multilingual repertoire includes Hebrew, so the hora is played live like the rest of the night.

"THE BEST EVER. Not only are Gabby and Eddie so easy to work with, they are extremely talented and fun. It has been two weeks since our wedding and guests are still contacting us about the band. They did not stop playing once, and the dance floor was more crowded than any other wedding, all thanks to their energy, talent, and perfect song choices."

Tarrytown wedding band questions
Is a Tarrytown wedding far enough out to add travel fees?
Not for most locations. Westchester is part of our New York team's regular territory, along with Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut and the Hamptons.
Is October a hard month to book on the river?
Popular dates go early, especially in peak season, so it pays to reach out as soon as your venue is set. If your date is open, we hold it while you finalize the details.
Our families live all over. Can they join the consultation?
Yes. We meet on Zoom, so you can invite as many people as you like. If you would rather meet in person, our home office fits groups of up to four.
