New Paltz Wedding Band

A live wedding band for New Paltz, Gardiner and Highland, below the Shawangunk Ridge, from a Victorian castle resort to farms and vineyards.

Inquire About Your Date

New Paltz is a college town at the foot of the Shawangunk Ridge, and the cliffs of the Gunks stand behind many of the weddings held here. Mohonk Mountain House has looked out from the ridge since 1869; down in the village, Huguenot Street keeps seven stone houses from the early 1700s; and the farmland around Gardiner fills with orchards, wineries and barns.

On the night we bring the full live band, 7 to 11 musicians with no pre-recorded tracks, or Eddie and Gabby as a duo for a smaller room. Either way the set list is built from your own Music Form and every song is played live.

Kiernan Farm

Gardiner

A family farm at the foot of the Shawangunk Mountains that raises grass-fed beef, makes its own wine and opens its land for farm weddings and celebrations.

Red Maple Vineyard

A former dairy farm turned family-run vineyard and farm-to-table venue, with a reception pavilion, a barn and catering and planning done in-house.

Planning a wedding in New Paltz

A weekend on the ridge

Mohonk asks wedding parties to reserve a block of guest rooms for two nights, which turns the wedding into a weekend in the mountains. If the weather turns, an outdoor ceremony moves to the Victorian Parlor, and cocktails are served on the Parlor Porch.

Fall in the Gunks

Autumn color on the ridge pulls visitors into New Paltz every fall, and Route 299 and the hotels in town fill up. Set the date early; if it is open, we hold it while you finalize everything else.

Receptions among fields and vines

Kiernan Farm, Red Maple Vineyard and Wildflower Farms put receptions out in the open. Ask the venue where amplified music is allowed and where power runs, then share the plan with us; our engineer arrives two hours early and sets the PA for the open air.

"THE BEST EVER. Not only are Gabby and Eddie so easy to work with, they are extremely talented and fun. It has been two weeks since our wedding and guests are still contacting us about the band. They did not stop playing once, and the dance floor was more crowded than any other wedding, all thanks to their energy, talent, and perfect song choices."

New Paltz wedding band questions

Huguenot Street's lawn events end by 10 pm. Can you work to that?

Yes. We build the timeline with you on our planning call about a month out, and on the day one of us confirms it with your planner, so the toasts, the dances and the last song all land before the village's deadline.

What do you need from us after we book?

Your Music Form, in the client portal. It covers the artists, decades, genres, special dances and must-play songs you love, and we build the set list from it.

Mohonk is up on the ridge. Can the band get its gear up there?

Yes. We handle our own travel, gear and setup. Send us the venue and date, and we will confirm the details and plan the load-in with the venue.
