Beacon and Newburgh Wedding Band
A live wedding band for Beacon, Newburgh, Cornwall, West Point and Garrison, where the Hudson comes out of the Highlands.
Inquire About Your DateJust north of the Hudson Highlands, where Storm King and Breakneck Ridge frame the river, Beacon and Newburgh face each other across Newburgh Bay. Beacon's old factory buildings now hold galleries, hotels and event rooms. Across the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, Newburgh and Cornwall mix 19th-century estates with country clubs, and a few miles south, West Point and Garrison look at each other across the water.
Our band comes up the river for weddings here and handles its own gear and setup from start to finish. Send the venue name and your date, and we will confirm everything with you directly.

Planning a wedding in Beacon and Newburgh
Tenting at the foot of a mountain
Mountainville Manor's ballroom seats 150, and a rented tent takes the count to 225. If you tent, tell us early where the band will stand and where power comes from, and we will plan the setup around it.
Graduation season at West Point
The Thayer also hosts graduation parties and commissioning ceremonies for West Point cadets. Check your date against the academy calendar before you book, and reserve guest rooms early.
A rain plan at the Roundhouse
The Roundhouse can bring an outdoor ceremony in from its lawn to the Waterfall Room if the weather turns. Ask how the room is reset between ceremony and dinner, and see our guide to questions to ask a wedding venue for the rest of the list.

"THE BEST EVER. Not only are Gabby and Eddie so easy to work with, they are extremely talented and fun. It has been two weeks since our wedding and guests are still contacting us about the band. They did not stop playing once, and the dance floor was more crowded than any other wedding, all thanks to their energy, talent, and perfect song choices."

Beacon and Newburgh wedding band questions
Our venue holds about fifty guests. What would you suggest?
Eddie and Gabby as a duo, or a smaller version of the band. The Duo covers every decade from the fifties to now and suits cocktail hours, intimate ceremonies and small venues where a full band would be more than the moment needs.
Do you bring your own sound engineer?
Yes. A sound engineer comes with every package, runs our own full PA system and is on site two hours before the event.
Can we add electric violin to the band?
Yes. Electric violin is one of the instruments you can add to the core seven-piece, along with trumpet, trombone, tenor saxophone or a second vocalist.
