About One World Trade Center

One World Trade Center stands at West and Vesey Streets in Lower Manhattan, and One World Observatory occupies the top of the tower. Its private event space, ASPIRE, is on the 102nd floor, the highest in the building, and the venue describes a wedding there as one held at the top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.

ASPIRE is one fully private room of about 9,000 square feet, with clean, modern architecture that keeps attention on the view. The events team treats it as a blank canvas, with in-house furniture and in-house catering. It holds 450 at a reception or 250 at a seated dinner, and for weddings the venue suggests up to about 175 guests.

Ceremonies take place on site, there is a signature wedding package, and the team can drape off a bridal suite inside the event space. There is no outdoor space, and the World Trade Center has no on-site parking or valet, though several lots sit within a block or two.

Planning your night at One World Trade Center

Building approval

ASPIRE allows outside vendors who meet the insurance requirements and pass building approval. We send our certificate of insurance and vendor details as soon as you book, so approval is settled long before the date.

A load-in to the top floor

Our gear travels through the building and up to the 102nd floor on the building's schedule. We confirm our arrival window, elevator access and any security steps with the events team, and our engineer is in the room two hours ahead.

One room, every moment

With the ceremony, dinner and dancing in the same space, we plan where the ceremony musician sits, where the band sets up and how the room changes between them. During dinner our musicians rotate in shifts, so the room is never silent.

Parking off site

Since the tower has no parking or valet, we arrange our vehicles at a nearby garage and plan unloading in advance. Our band rider guide explains what a band needs from a venue.

"THE BEST EVER. Not only are Gabby and Eddie so easy to work with, they are extremely talented and fun. It has been two weeks since our wedding and guests are still contacting us about the band. They did not stop playing once, and the dance floor was more crowded than any other wedding, all thanks to their energy, talent, and perfect song choices."

Questions about One World Trade Center

Have you performed at One World Trade Center?

Yes. One World Trade Center is on the list of places our band has performed. Weddings in the tower take place at ASPIRE, and we plan the 102nd-floor setup with the events team.

Does ASPIRE host the ceremony too?

Yes. The venue hosts ceremonies, and each of our packages includes a complimentary musician who plays the ceremony and stays on for cocktails. Tell us about your processional and we will suggest songs.

Which band setup suits a wedding of about 175?

We help you match the band to the room. That could be the core seven-piece, a bigger band with horns, or the DJ Hybrid, where a DJ anchors the night and live musicians move through the crowd.
