Rhinebeck Wedding Band

A live wedding band for Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Germantown and Amenia, from a 1766 inn to riverside estates, orchards and country hotels.

Inquire About Your Date

Rhinebeck is a village of old houses and older trees in northern Dutchess County, and city couples have been coming up for country weekends here for a long time. The Hudson runs along the west side of town, lined with 19th-century estates, while the roads east toward Red Hook and Amenia pass orchards, farms and country inns.

Weddings here lean on that history: a ceremony on a Victorian estate's lawn, a reception at an inn that has welcomed guests since 1766, an afternoon among apple trees. We come up the river with our own gear and crew, and the band you get is the same one that plays our city weddings.

Planning a wedding in Rhinebeck

Daytime only at Wilderstein

Wilderstein hosts daytime outdoor events only, with everything, setup included, fitting between 9 am and dusk. If it is your venue, plan a daytime timeline; a written run of show matters more than usual when the light sets the schedule.

Fair weekends

The Dutchess County Fair in August and the Sheep and Wool Festival in October fill the fairgrounds and the inns around Rhinebeck. If your date lands on one of those weekends, book rooms for guests first and allow extra time on the roads.

Tents among the orchards

Orchards and riverside lawns usually mean a tented reception. Our sound engineer is on site two hours ahead with a full PA set up for an open-air room.

By train to Rhinecliff

Amtrak stops at Rhinecliff, a few minutes from the village, so city guests can skip the drive. The Beekman Arms has rooms in town, and Troutbeck's 37 guest rooms can keep a whole wedding weekend on one property.

Rhinebeck wedding band questions

Can you play a daytime-only wedding?

Absolutely. A daytime reception gets the same live band as an evening one, and our dinner rotation keeps music playing from the ceremony to the last dance.

Do you play the ceremony and cocktail hour too, or only the reception?

All of it. One complimentary musician for the ceremony and cocktail hour comes with every package, and the music runs continuously from start to finish.

Do you play weddings as far north as Rhinebeck and Red Hook?

Yes. We travel for weddings and handle our own travel, gear and setup. Send your venue and date and we will confirm everything with you.
